Join Vesper Meadow and Red Earth Descendants to ‘behave like beavers’ and work on repairing and adding to our low-tech process-based restoration structures that mimic the in-steam benefit of beaver dams. These structures have been a huge turning point for restoring the hydrologic system, wildlife habitat, and the native plant ecosystem.

In teamwork and collaboration: we’ll be enjoying the early fall in the meadow. This work will entail walking in the meadow on uneven surfaces, bending, carrying 5-25 pounds of tree branches (moderate - heavy effort) and working in-steam. Chest waders or water boots are highly recommended!
