A day of collaboration and stewardship for Public Lands Day

VOLUNTEER + CELEBRATE

Join this collaborative day with the Vesper Meadow team, the Medford Public Lands Store, Friends of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument*, and Project Beaver for a morning of service to the lands we love. In the morning, we’ll break intro small groups head out in conservation and restoration teams to take actions for meadow protection, creek restoration, and pollinator habitat restoration. Then, in the afternoon we will celebrate with food and a live band courtesy of the Public Lands Store.

Activities include walking on uneven ground, options for moderate to heavy lifting. If you like getting your hands dirty, or just want to give back to your watershed, you are going to have a lot of fun! More details provided upon RSVP.

Event Schedule:

8:30am SHUTTLE PROVIDED: from the Public Lands Store in Medford
9:30 - 10am Welcome and orientation

10am - 1pm Stewardship Sessions

1:30pm LUNCH PROVIDED and DRINKS BBQ lunch with meat and vegan option

2pm MUSIC: Enjoy a complimentary show by the band Sequoia Rose on the Vesper Meadow stage

PRIZES: All participants will receive a Tshirt and gift bag courtesy of the Public Lands Store, plus opportunities to win more goodies in a raffle!

Special Notes:

  • As much as we love our furry friends, pets are not allowed except service animals.

  •  All visitors must sign the online waiver in advance of the visit.
