Tending the Garden of the Mind

Date and time: Friday, August 25th, 11 am - 2:30 pm

Enjoy a day of restoration at Vesper Meadow where we will both tend to the physical landscape and also tend to the inner landscape of our mind. We're pleased to host licensed counselor, Megan O'Melia as she guides us through a relational exercise of identifying and weeding out invasive/negative thoughts in our mental landscape. After some cerebral cultivation, we'll transition to tending the physical landscape through the removal of invasive plants in Vesper Meadow's native plant gardens, which will benefit a host of species, including pollinators, insects, and butterflies.

About our hosts:
Vesper Meadow Education Program is a center for habitat restoration and human reconnection to the landscape at the crest of the Cascade-Siskiyous
Megan O'Melia: Megan has been practicing counseling in the valley for the last four years. She enjoys re-connecting people to their feelings, bodies, and landscape.
