Music in the Meadow: Concert Fundraiser

  • Vesper Meadow Restoration and Educational Services LLC (map)

This event is SOLD OUT. Thank you supporters!

Join The Rosa Lees and Kismet at Vesper Meadow for an afternoon of music, food, and merriment!

Last summer we built a brand new stage from reclaimed cedar logs found at Vesper Meadow, and now we are excited to inaugurate it with our first ever fundraiser concert. We’ll have a food truck, local beverages, fun raffle prizes, and good company. Arrive early and we’ll be offering free tours of some of our restoration work. Come celebrate the beginning of summer with us and help support our programs with local youth, volunteers, interns and Tribal members in 2023.

The Rosa Lees features fiddler Jessie Monter, banjo picker Rachel Buklad, Bekkah McAlvage on guitar, and Holly Hurley on bass, and brings together a love for bluegrass, old-time, and roots music with lots of inventive instrumentation and sweet, three-part harmonies. The band plays a mix of original and Americana favorites from high-stepping dance numbers to chilling vocal ballads.

Kismet is an Ashland-local trio featuring Celia Harris on violin, Rowan Buck on accordion, and Erik Neumann on bass. They perform a mix of instrumental music ranging from jazz and tango tunes to film scores to pop songs by Radiohead and Nirvana.
