Join us for Spring cleaning in the Meadow!

We will be taking a walk out to Latgawa Creek and preparing forest materials to support beaver-based restoration in the creek. Work will include using loppers to cut the lower branches off trees and carrying them to the edge of the creek. Well be setting the stage to make more Post-assisted log structures (beaver-based restoration structures) in Latgawa Creek once the water levels drop.

Water boots recommended!

Guide/s: Vesper Meadow Land Steward Dylan Rodvik and Vesper Meadow Staff Stasie Maxwell.
Difficulty: Moderate. Walking on uneven terrain, bending, lifting, dragging 5-10 lbs of branches, working with hand tools (shovels, loppers, saws).
