All are invited to come and learn about meadow habitat restoration and join the team at Vesper Meadow for some hands-on fun. Together, we'll set the stage for the Indigenous Garden revival at Vesper Meadow. We'll be talking about meadow restoration strategies, moving weed-suppression tarps and preparing planting areas for a camas lily demonstration area, expanding the elderberry picking-patch, and gathering spaces. This work is in service to our Tribal partners with the Indigenous Gardens Network, as well as for native pollinators and other wildlife.
Bring your work shoes and garden gloves, water bottle, and lunch, and wear long pants and layers. We'll supply tools, drinks, snacks, and good cheer.
Please RSVP, details and directions will be provided by email in advance of the event.
