Native Garden Restoration Day

  • Vesper Meadow Restoration and Educational Services LLC 16534 Dead Indian Memorial Rd Ashland United States (map)

Its fall planting season, one of the best times of the year!

Join Indigenous Partnerships Program Manager, Stasie Maxwell for a day of fall restoration planting.

Indigenous gardens of Camas lilies and Yampah that were converted to invasive weeds and a corral for cattle in the last 150 years, are now ready for restoration planting!

We have collected seeds onsite, and prepared the area with a year of invasive grass suppression through tarping. Join us in seeding native grasses and shrubs in an area that will be dedicated to, among other things, camas restoration and research.

This stewardship work creates community in every way; between pollinators and the land, between ecosystems, between humans and the land, and between each other as humans.

Please RSVP for meet-up location, details, what to bring, etc. We’ll provide snacks, drinks, tools, and good cheer. This event welcomes all, free of charge. Donations will be welcomed.
