Native Plant Sale

We are teaming up with the Rogue Native Plant Partnership and many local native plant growers to bring you plants for your yard!

For the third year in a row, local conservation groups and growers are collaborating to provide a range of attractive and useful native plants to Rogue Valley gardeners. Many native plants can be hard to find in retail nurseries, so this annual Spring Native Plant Sale is a great opportunity for gardeners, land stewards and pollinator enthusiasts to get their hands on some of our beautiful wildflowers and wildlife-benefiting specimens.

The Rogue Native Plant Partnership, Illinois Valley Soil & Water Conservation District, and Vesper Meadow Education Program, have been working with local growers to get a great selection of native plants ready for sale, and will be doing outreach and running workshops on growing natives in the lead up to the plant sale. The Rogue Native Plant Partnership website (roguenativeplants.org) will be taking online pre-orders for plants from March 23rd - April 13th. Customers will be able to pick up their orders, and purchase an assortment of available plants on April 25th at two locations: the Northwest Nature Shop, 154 Oak St, Ashland, and the Illinois Valley Soil & Water Conservation District office at 219 Redwood Hwy, Cave Junction.

Most of the native plants available through the Spring Native Plant Sale have been grown by local wholesale growers who propagate the plants for local ecological restoration projects. The Spring Native Plant Sale will be selling excess plant stock from these growers, which helps support these important local businesses.
