Join us for a restoration tour of native meadow plants and beaver-based restoration in Latgawa Creek. This tour and discussion group will build upon initial discussions by a developing group of Southwest Oregon restoration practitioners, Tribal members, ecologists, land managers with a vision of a regional Network for grassland/prairie/meadow habitat conservation and restoration. One eventual goal could be a regional conference to share best practices and research outcomes for this unique regional habitat type.
If you work in conservation or restoration of regional grassland/prairie ecosystems, including oak savannah, we invite you to participate. Bring sun protection, close-toed shoes, water bottle and sack lunch.
Restoration practitioners, biologists, Tribal members, college and graduate students are encourage to participate. Participants must RSVP, more information to follow:
