You are invited to this Vesper Meadow and Red Earth Descendants collaboration! Work along side friendly faces, splash in the creek, and work with plants.
Become a part of the Vesper Meadow vision for community-powered land stewardship and learn some ‘beaver-based’ restoration skills. Witness how willow stakes are like magic sticks in the creek helping retain sediment, and slow and spread water through the meadow, contributing to riparian restoration and mitigating harm from cattle and agriculture.
Together we will cut, prepare, and plant native willows to protect the streambank and slow and spread water in the meadow. We will also be planting Willow on and around the Post-Assisted Log Structures, to help maintain these Beaver-style structures. Water boots recommended!
