Walk, Weed, and Seed: Yampah

The Walk, Weed, and Seed events have been so much fun, we've decided to do one more! Join us for another plant-stewardship walk, enjoying the intersection of recreation and restoration. We will collect seeds that will be used in restoration trials here at the Meadow, and in demonstration plots that will be used in future educational events. For this event, we have our hearts set on collecting Yampah (Perideridia spp), a traditional food plant with edible roots and seeds (one common name is wild caraway, which it smells similar to, so this will be an especially fragrant collection activity!). Please RSVP/register for this event, to get details, what to bring, etc. This event is free, but donations will be welcomed.
